At 43 Places, you can upload images and descriptions of your town, or view the travelogues of others with a click on a Mercator map of the world. Tags are a common web device too across sites like flickr or 43 Things, cousin site to 43 Places, and are a kitchy way to land on images from random word associations. I love this stuff!
