Put a handy pull-down "live bookmark" of your favorite News Headlines in your FireFox Bookmarks folder with the
Mozilla Firefox - Live Bookmarks.
I like these two:
Yahoo and
BBC.
Important: You must save them in your Bookmarks Folder as
Live Bookmarks for them to work properly. Here is how to do that.
- Right click those links and select "Copy Link Location".
- In Firefox, select Bookmarks - Manage Bookmarks.
- In the Bookmarks pane, select File - Add Live Bookmark
- Enter a name (Y!News, for example), and the link for it from above
- For it to be useful, you then have to move it to the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder:
-- Highlight the new BBC or Yahoo Folder and select "Move...".
-- Select the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder.
- Done
You will now see them in your "links" toolbar and can just click to see (and open) the latest news headlines.
