Crema is a frothy layer of foam created throuh the expresso pressure process, from a good quality coffee pressed through a
cafetiere, or more recently, the Senseo coffee press, which of course coffee snobs no doubt deplore on principle.
But that's just background. Here's the real scoop. The image below is real folks, not something trumped up by Photoshop, and no claims to any Area51 alien occurence: the Rally Monkey appeared in the crema of my coffee this week. I showed it to some fellow traders, but absolutely no one was impressed. This tells me that the Madonna in the Toast phase has clearly peaked. Reality never cares about timing, does it?
