Food phobias are intriguing to me, especially those that seem, to me, so harmless. Kids of course almost take pride in "hating" certain foods. The teen unit, when she was so, had phobias of fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions, all staples suitable for lovely omelets or grilled breakfasts. She is today mortified to be reminded of them, having somewhere along her travels as a university student, acquired "taste".
