Chick Goslin's SMR & IFT Method

Back in March of 2005, I became interested in Chick Goslin's "SMR & IFT" methods, which I summarized in this post from my actio-et-reactio blog.

While I had a workable template of the method, I dragged my feet in publishing it as there were some aspects of it I couldn't properly code, namely the +/- conditions. Being fickle and flighty minded, I abandoned pursuit of a shareable template in favor of the other intriguing ideas du jour.

However, the little seed was planted and lo and behold, I only just today received an email from morganp letting me know of it. How felicitous as it rounds out the picture of what is a sensible approach for swing traders.

Another trader, some time ago, wrote to Howard Arrington with a similar desire, enough of one to peak Howard's curiosity to solve the puzzle. The fruit of that was an Ensign template, implementing the ideas with DYOS.
