Enormous appreciation to dblue, Quartz, Terry, Kent, Sputnik, Sniffy, Rob Chapman, and jh007 for sharing their box related templates.

Traders should be knowledgeable about how to download and apply templates and are referred to the Ensign Help pages for further reading.

Draw Tools (Go)

Here are all the ways to put a box on a chart:
Hand Drawn, Ensign, Tradestation, Neoticker, and Sierra Charts

Alan Bars (Go)

Highlighting the important bars in Alan's method helps to keep you alert to the forecast and strategies they indicate.

123 Bars (Go)

This template by sputnik marks 123-bar groups, regardless of their position in a zone or if at a "local" high or low, ie, it marks ALL 123-bar groups.

PVAC- Four Day Cycle (Go)

This colorful "ribbon" is a handy reminder for those that incorporate the four-day rotation cycle in their trading. It will place the correct day/color at the base of the chart (or in a subwindow), using Ensigns built in calendar so that all weekends and holidays are included without the user having to double-check. These ribbons can be used on any time frame.

Count HH or LLs (Go)
These very useful templates by Quartz place numbers above each bars H or L as price makes HH or LL. Alan's method of counting HH or LL differs slightly from "traditional" swing-counts, so Quartz has provided templates that allow the user to add only Alan's, only the "traditional", or both.

Time Ribbons (Go)
There are various reasons you might at some point want to add a time ribbon. On use is to better show the time axis and important bars. Another reason, in my (amg) opinion is to identify missing bars, which has become less of a concern with the recent (2006) versions of Ensign. Sputnik and Sniffy have created several templates for these purposes.

Other Templates
-- Sniffy's Box Magic template automates various strategies. Wonderfully clean implementation.

-- Sputnik's Box Line Transfer template uses Global Variables to put 10m angulars on any time frame
