How to Create a Tab

On a blank chart, Select the Alan Square tool and draw it, no need to make it look right or anchor for setting the tab.

• If you already have a Tab setup as you like your box to look, Select it
• Click on Copy Tab
• Click on one of the Tab Settings along the bottom (do not copy to Default)
• Click again on Copy Tab
• Now modify the selections (angles, check boxes, line styles, colors)
• Click Close

That's it. This procedure can be used for *any* Ensign study, drawing tool, Alert, DYO, etc etc. Cool, isn't it?

Settings

These are sample settings. Change the color, thicknesses, Left or Right to suit your charts.

Note: By using the "Horizontal" check box (top of the list) vs. a 100% line, you insure that when only one box is used (ie, the Top and Bottom Squares 1, 2 are unchecked), you will get Horizontals at both the 0% and 100% positions.
